2007 Governor's 3rd Annual

Empowerment Conference

On August 20, 2007, Chief Michael “Manfox” Buley met with Ky. Governor Ernie Fletcher at the Galt House in Louisville, Kentucky.  The event was the Governors 3^rd Annual Empowerment Conference.  Our Chief presented Gov. Fletcher with a Cherokee Braves Flag.  The Flag of our Great Southern Cherokee Nation.  It looked as if Gov. Fletcher was honored when Chief Manfox handed him our nations flag.  The Governor and our Chief spoke for a few moments and made plans to met at a later date to discuss some things.  Our Chief stood proud and strong for our nation.  Keep him and our whole native family in prayer.
