Letter written to James Martin (Great Grandfather to Michael "Man Fox" Buley) from Governor John Young Brown, welcoming The Southern Cherokee Nation back into the state of Kentucky in the year 1893.

Daniel Boone made a treaty with the Cherokee that certain areas 

in Kentucky would belong to them throughout time.

Mr. Scott was Principal Chief and Medicine Man for the Southern Cherokee [1935] here in Kentucky.

  He is Michael "Manfox" Buley's grandfather.
